Ok...my last hello  was in 2013 so have lots of things to share with you people...
Got a new dog Tara in March 2015. The poor baby was thrown away with three puppies by her people....so she was willy nilly foisted on me....Pandemonium all around...my family are NOT dog people or pet people and my daughter was off for higher studies that year and she was understandably uptight...a nervous dog on top of everything else she did not need....ultimately it all worked out and Tara is a beloved part of the family now and the puppies have all found wonderful homes....

Rosalba Griesi, a very interesting Italian lady did a dissertation on my second book, Kaikeyi, Ramas stepmother in the Ramayana....and she went on to win the Franz Kafka Prize for it later....kudos to both ladies ancient and modern...Kaikeyi and Rosalba..

Sharmila Mukherji, a class mate of mine and a talented danseuse is bringing out her solo dance performance Kaikeyi on April 7th this year in Bangalore...based on my book Kaikeyi...that Queen does march ahead...

Oh and I am writing now in Bengali and am being published in the Bengali quarterly magazine, Malini...being flagged on by the indefatigable editor Maya Siddhanta....my stories have also appeared in the 3 Malini anthologies Shera Malini...I am now seriously considering a book in Bengali...!!!
